Filmmaker and animal advocate based in Los Angeles. Jon’s films have been accepted into numerous film festivals and featured on The Dodo, Spin Magazine, and the Hallmark Channel.
Jon and his brothers grew up making funny home movies with their parents video camera. In 2006 he graduated from Columbus College of Art & Design. In 2010, Jon received recognition for writing and directing his first feature length film ‘Never Escape.’ The film premiered to a sold out crowd and went on to win numerous awards. In 2011, Jon produced another award winning short film, ‘The Mask Returns,’ based off the popular graphic novel series The Mask. In 2012 Jon created several Emmy Award Winning, internationally televised, commercials for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers. One of Jon’s biggest projects was the music video ‘Future Warrior’ for the band, Palms that debuted exclusively with Spin Magazine in 2013. He continues to work with internationally known musicians creating music videos and visuals. Jon’s visuals have played at massive venues and festivals all over the world including, EDC, Ultra and Coachella.
Jon recently completed his newest short film, ‘Loss and Found.’ A true comedic story about how he started saving rescue dogs. He is currently hosting screenings in select theaters with animal rescue organizations, and film festivals all over the world. His goal is to help local rescues raise money, while also raising awareness for shelter dogs and Pit Bulls.
